My children can ask me anything.
In fact, they push the borders….because I am mom. They believe that I can give them anything if its within my reach. This is is empowering and it makes me go the extra mile for them. They keep asking and asking….until they run out of ideas.
There are times when I just look and say…I am only human , you know…

Many times, as human beings,  our brain limits what God can do. In fact, we are so restricted that we jump at the first option. Thinking that God would withdraw offer if we delay.

Let me share with you one drama that ensued in Eden.
Genesis 2:18‭-‬23 ASV
And Jehovah God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet for him. And out of the ground Jehovah God formed every beast of the field, and every bird of the heavens; and brought them unto the man to see what he would call them: and whatsoever the man called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And the man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the heavens, and to every beast of the field; but for man there was not found a help meet for him. And Jehovah God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof: and the rib, which Jehovah God had taken from the man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man. And the man said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man.

Adam was sitting down quietly, when God came by and decided that Adam needed a mate.
God then decided to bring all the animals He had created,  so Adam could name them, and give them an identity. Whatever he called them , they became.
Adam named all of them without finding  one that met his standard of a mate for himself. He was very choosy.

Remember, Adam was a perfect man at the time. Born once , without sin and had a perfect sense of judgement.  His desires were in line with God and there was no corruption in Him.
God brought
Even Turkey and gorilla.

All of these were contenders, Adam was not satisfied and refused to call them any name related to him.
After God exhausted what was on ground, He saw that his Oliver-Twist creation was not happy, He had to go further.

God came up with one last option, something different..something unique, something that was perfect for Adams need.

Sisters, it beats me why we give up at the first NO
Why do we embrace the first offer   even when we know that  is not the best, simply because we are afraid that we may never get another chance?
This is the reason why many women are in wrong marriages, wrong careers, wrong churches…Because you think that God is limited and if you dont take the offer, you are gone. Stop…

Adam didnt accept any offer until he got the perfect one..God didnt stop until  Adam got satisfied.
If he did same for Adam, why would your case be difference.

If Adam settled for a cow, God would not stop him.
If Adam was willing to kiss a crocodile, that would have been it. God decided what his needs were, he was the One left with the task  of whom to allow to meet the needs.

This week….you have to opportunity to decide what will come into your life
You have the right to accept a cow or a lizard.
You can either settle for the first offer because you are afraid of what is out there,
You can choose to enjoy the very best that God has to offer even if you have to wait a little longer for it…
If you are not satisfied…GOD WON’T STOP bringing new options…your satisfaction is His aim.

Like a spoilt brat, I choose to keep asking , until I get the best. As God’s Precious JEWEL, who desires are in line with His best will for me, NOT THIS ONE DAD, gets my father looking for a better one for me…..afterall, I sat down quietly,  minding my business before He said…WHERE YOU ARE IS NOT GOOD ENOUGH…..

God won’t stop….till you get the best, whether you accept the second-best, is entirely up to you.
